Intelligent Trading Foundation (ITF) is no longer in a position to continue active development of our full suite of products. However, our products will remain online and available for our users as long as possible. See more information here.
Customize the alerts you receive by setting your alert validity which coincides with your preferred risk level and trading horizon.
The trading horizon represents the time frame in which you are looking to end the trade.
A short horizon means the entire trade is expected to complete in a matter of hours.
A long horizon alert could take months before it reaches exhaustion.
If you are familiar with technical analysis, candlesticks and periods, all you need to know is that short/medium/long corresponds with 1hr, 4hr and 1D periods respectively.
This can be adjusted by using the /settings command, and then tapping the “Basic Setting” button.
Then tapping the “Validity Settings”.
Then tapping on the “24 hr” or “4 hr” or “1 hr” option.
In general, we suggest sticking to the 4 hr Level.
*Alerts may be sent to you at strange hours if you are using the 1 day trading horizon. This is a long term signal so you have a whole day to act on them. This signal is relevant for 24 hours after you receive it. Whereas, the swing-trader alerts are only relevant for the next 4 hours.

This is really exciting for traders who only want to receive signals for a very specific indicator and nothing else.
For example, if you only make trades based on Ichimoku Cloud Breakout, now you can filter out all the other signals we provide users so that you only get alerts when a breakout occurs for the coins of your choice.

Receive a Crowd Sentiment Alert that helps you stay on top of what is happening in the cryptocurrency world, and how people feel about what’s happening.
Sentiment is represented for each alert as Bullish, Bearish, and Important. We pull this data from CryptoPanic and present it to you.
Below each Crowd Sentiment Alert, you will see 3 buttons for Bullish, Bearish, and Important. This is for you to respond to the alert with how you feel about it. Your responses are added to our own database where we combine it with the data we received from CryptoPanic.
These alerts are time-sensitive, and can only be updated for a few minutes after published to Telegram. So, if you want to respond to a Crowd Sentiment Alert, please respond within a few minutes of the alert being posted in your feed.
When viewing crowd sentiment for these alerts (i.e. Bullish, Bearish, and Important), please note that it is only active for a few minutes and then new responses will no longer be updated inside the alert.
Crowd Sentiment Alerts can be enabled and disabled by using the /settings command, and then tapping the “Basic” button.
Then tapping on “Signal Settings".
Then tapping on the “Turn Crowd Sentiment On/Off” option.
The RSI is one of the most widely used momentum indicators, because it’s very easy to use. When it’s too high, it basically means that the price has gone up too fast relative to its recent price action. This means it’s “overbought”, indicating a potential pause or price reversal. When it’s too low, it means it's “oversold.”
In financial markets, the standard range would be 30 (too low) to 70 (too high). However, because crypto is so volatile, the RSI often moves from 20 to 80.

Ichimoku translates to “at one glance”. It is named this way because it combines a large number of popular trading techniques into one single indicator, allowing a trader to analyze an entire chart with a quick look. It revolves around the idea that markets always want to be in a state of equilibrium. Because of this, it’s especially effective in indicating the beginning of big and powerful bull and bear trends.
However, most people feel this indicator is very overwhelming to learn because it consists of many different moving parts that are all interconnected.
We have fully automated this indicator, and our bot will keep track of cloud breakouts for all available coins 24/7. Cloud breakouts are usually followed by big bull rallies. Keep in mind that the Ichimoku Cloud is less effective in sideways, ranging, or consolidating markets.

This alert is unique to ITF and combines the power of Relative Strength Index (RSI) and Simple Moving Average (SMA) to tell you when a bull trend is coming.
This combination outperforms RSI in 41% of cases.
We use SMA 50, SMA 200, and RSI for the day to identify trend reversals. This signal is best used for long term positions.

The Volume Based Indicator (VBI) is one of the oldest day trading indicators, and is also one of the most popular indicators for market technicians.
